Staff Charity Event: Three Peaks Challenge

We are proud to announce that two members of our Federation staff have been training hard in preparation for a massive challenge. On the 31st May they will take part in the Three Peaks Challenge. This challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hours.

Why would they do that I hear you ask? It's all in aid of Build Africa.

Build Africa is a fantastic charity that facilitates education for local communities in Africa. They have funded a number of projects across Kenya and Uganda in recent years which have given children access to education.

Being fortunate enough to have a well resourced school, we would like to share this good fortune with our partner school in Uganda. Kooki Primary School  was initially set up in 2011 with temporary shelters and extremely limited resources. With the help of Build Africa, there are now nearly 250 children on role with 3 classroom blocks. However, much still needs to be done in order to give all pupils passing through Kooki’s doors a chance to obtain a decent education both now and in the future.

So Miss O'Callaghan and Miss Green are doing their bit and now we need you to do yours. Please visit the following just giving pages and sponsor them, remember every little bit helps.
